Courtyard Works
13 June - 20 June

3 minute read

Here at Collingwood Yards we have a 490 square metre sized problem, GRAVEL! It takes up a big part of our courtyard and it causes all kinds of access issues. That’s why this week weโ€™re beginning the first step of a multi stage process to transform our courtyard into a space that can be better used by everyone.

This first step involves replacing the gravel with a temporary surface and as a result there will be some disruptions to movement through our precinct for a short time.

You can expect these disruptions to our thoroughfares from ๐“๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘ ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž – ๐“๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ– ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž with works scheduled to end ๐“๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž.

Our open-to-the-public hospitality, retail and gallery spaces will still be completely accessible, you may have to take a small detour to get to them and weโ€™ll have signs set up to help out too. We appreciate your patience during this time and we’ll make sure to keep you updated on the progress as we begin the transformation of our courtyard. Additionally for those of you who are already feeling nostalgic for the gravel, keep an eye on this space for updates on what our plans are going forward with it.
