01 Simple
Simple forms sculpted from Green Tag certified foam contour the body, paying equal ode to ergonomics and the environment. With no internal mechanisms or complex parts, each module is designed to be recycled after decades of use in both domestic and commercial interiors.
02 Adaptable
A single seat or a generous sofa – The Monde Modular System is designed to interlock and interchange; allowing a single seat to expand or contract into varied shapes, sizes and configurations – providing endless possibility in both residential or commercial applications.
03 Timeless
Monde’s philosophy resists cyclical trends and planned obsolescence in furniture manufacturing, producing products designed to be passed from one generation to the next. Whilst other sofas become disposable after prolonged use, Monde addresses the need for responsible furniture through forward thinking, human centred design. Upholstery can be removed easily for maintenance and dry-cleaning. A change of aesthetic, shape or size is simple and affordable with interchangeable covers. Lightweight units allow for effortless changes in sofa size or shape through reconfiguration and the addition or subtraction of modules.
04 Comfortable
Modelled on the contours of the human form, the sweeping curves of The Monde Seating System commands comfort in a relaxed, reclined position. A unique combination of Green Tag and GECA certified foams have been thoughtfully sealed to be ultra-durable, supportive and comfortable.
05 Responsible
Monde partners with innovative suppliers of locally milled, natural and recycled upholsteries, and makes use of limited dead-stock and end-of-the-line textiles where possible. An exceptionally low carbon footprint can be attested to local manufacturing and minimal waste in the sofas production, Foam and textile offcuts are captured and recycled and used, post consumer goods, otherwise destined for landfill can be recycled through Conscious Consumer Initiatives.
06 Recyclable
Monde has an ongoing commitment to closed loop production; considering the life of the product from beginning-to-end. A Monde sofa is made from 100% recyclable foam and can be responsibly milled at the end of its life, transforming what would otherwise be furniture waste or landfill, into materials that can be reused.
