Lauren is a queer transgender artist represented by Sarah Scout Presents Gallery. Using installation based methods they work across images, sculpture, sound, and video to explore how images shape desire, identity, and consumption. Lauren’s practice critically engages with the codes and conventions of image culture, using appropriation and image manipulation to subvert popular narratives.
