Melbourne Art Fair has kicked off their festivities this week and Collingwood Yards have joined in throwing open the doors until late for Saturday Night, part of their Late Night program presented by Broadsheet.
While the main MAF event won’t begin until 6pm there’s plenty that can be done in the meantime.

ILBIJERRI is one of Australia’s leading theatre companies creating innovative works by First Nations artists. The longest established First Nations theatre company in Australia, ILBIJERRI creates, presents and tours powerful and engaging theatre by First Nations artists that gives voice to our Cultures.
Two Nagula Jarndu artists-Sherena Bin Hitam, a Bardi-Jawi-Yawuru woman and Marie Manado a Yawuru woman, are travelling to Naarm (Melbourne) to hold 2 block printing workshops. These workshops will share the artists’ stories from their culture, share language (Yawuru and Bardi-Jawi) and their own printmaking art practice and teach the basics of block printed fabric. Participants will carve 2 small blocks of their own and will create works on paper and 2 linen tea towels. This workshop is suitable for people 15 years and older.
