_JALA Studio_ creates site-specific landscapes and gardens informed by Australia’s unique ecosystems and natural environment. Their projects can be found throughout eastern Australia, from inner-city courtyards to sprawling regional properties.

The studio is committed to the ongoing health and prosperity of each location, sourcing local materials that will age reliably and support the long-term sustainability of our gardens. At every step the tenets that underpin their work are durability, seasonality and ecological sensitivity.

For over 2 years JALA Studio has been designing dynamic, reflective and refined gardens. They see the natural environment as an integral element of every site, and believe a harmonious landscape should offer interest throughout the seasons and evolve over time as a living piece of art.
