We acknowledge the traditional owners and sovereign custodians of the land on which Collingwood Yards is situated, the Wurundjeri people of the Woiwurrung language group. We extend our respect to their Ancestors and all First Peoples and Elders past, present, and future.

Collingwood Yards is a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity.

The precinct is the first of its kind in Australia operating a cross-subsidy model using self-generated commercial income to fund affordable space for artists and cultural organisations and deliver community arts programs.

Collingwood Yards reinvests all resources back into supporting artists and presenting community-minded cultural experiences. Significant funds are also spent each year on conserving the Keith Haring Mural and maintaining the aging buildings. Currently, the precinct solely depends on earned income and donations.

We are building the blueprint for resilient arts precincts, and we are 80% of the way there.

With your support, Collingwood Yards can close this funding gap and empower more artists and audiences. Potential activities include community arts programs, children’s workshops, and professional development for artists.

The site was deeded by the Victorian Government in 2018 and established as a charitable social enterprise. Collingwood Yards would not exist without the initial support of the below partners.
